Pancakes and presents are will come together this morning when Santa Claus arrives at Church Street United Methodist Church for the annual “Breakfast with Santa” event.

The breakfast, Rev. Janet C. Nabors said, will begin at 8 a.m. in Windham Hall.

“We’ill begin with a pancake breakfast and then we’ll have some photos with Santa and some arts and crafts, balloons and things like that,” she said.

The church, Nabors said, will have plenty of activities to keep children occupied while waiting their turn.

“We’re going to have a lot going on so people don’t have to wait in line,” she said.

Photos with Santa are $5 per child or $20 for a family package, Nabors said.

“It’s open to anyone that wants to come,” she said. “We’ll have the photos ready at the church the Sunday [Dec. 12] after they are taken. It should be a lot of fun.”

The breakfast will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. and Santa will be available for photos from 9 to 11 a.m.
