Dear editor,
Alzheimer’s Outreach Group will soon be celebrating its one year anniversary.
Since its inception in Selma we have raised funds for the purchase of transmitter bracelets and radar equipment used by county sheriff’s departments throughout Alabama.
These bracelets are free to all qualified people that suffer from Alzheimer’s and Autistism.
People that suffer from Alzheimer’s and Autism that tend to wander can be quickly located in case they stray from home.
Dallas County is in need of these bracelets.
Alzheimer’s Outreach Group also partners with the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Neurology Research Department in it’s ongoing effort to find a cure.
We are now needing volunteers in Dallas County who would be willing to help with this cause.
If you are interested, please contact me at 334-412-3989.
Your help is greatly needed. You can make a difference. Thank you!
Oscar W. Calloway
