Army Medical Corps in town through Friday

The Army Medical Corps will continue to operate in downtown Selma this week, offering basic medical, dental and vision care for free.

The care includes screening for diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity and sexually transmitted diseases as well as diagnoses for asthma, COPD and more. Dental care includes exams, extractions and simple fillings. Eye care includes exams and single vision glasses.

The Army Medical Corps will offer the services every day through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the George P. Evans building on Lawrence Street near the Alabama River. For more information, call 874-2101.
