Angela Hendrix DeLaitsch

Angela Hendrix DeLaitsch, 58, resident of Pike Road, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2015.

She is preceded in death by her father, Harold A. Hendrix. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul G. Delaitsch; daughter, Ashley D. Vance (Jeremy) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; mother, Ann O. Hendrix of Selma; sisters, Lisa A. Hendrix of Montgomery and Harriet H. Seal (Louis) of Ridgeland, Mississippi; nephews, Curtis H. Seal and Tyler A. Seal, both of Ridgeland, Mississippi. Angela was a 1975 graduate of John T. Morgan Academy and was elected president of the student government association her senior year.

She attended the University of Alabama and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Social Sorority.

She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and she enjoyed many mission trips as well as other activities.

Visitation will be held at Saint James United Methodist Church in Montgomery on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, beginning at 9 a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m. Interment to follow for family and friends at Shell Banks Baptist Church cemetery in Gulf Shores at 4 p.m.

Donations may be made to Saint James United Methodist Church of Montgomery or to the American Cancer Society of Alabama.
