Mr. Victor L. Peterson, resident  of Marion, passed Nov. 27, 2015, in VA Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at noon at Marion Baptist Academy in Marion with the Rev. Carl Billingsley Sr. officiating. Burial will follow Monday, Dec. 7, 2015. at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, with Melvin Miller Funeral Service directing. The body will lie in repose one hour  prior to service at the church.
