Selma didn’t have quite the showing it hoped for in the Alabama Track and Field Championships in Gulf Shores on Friday.

However, the Saints did make a mark. Ashley Grimes and Kamesha Stallworth qualified for 100-yard dash finals, which will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Grimes will also represent Selma in the long jump at noon.

Wendell Lewis will participate in the the high jump at 3:30 p.m. The high jump did not hold preliminaries on Friday.
