Police: Selma man shot Saturday amid ongoing dispute

A Selma man was shot Saturday evening over an ongoing dispute, according to authorities.
A Selma man, 36, was shot Saturday around 11 p.m. on the 1200 block of Woodrow Avenue.
The unidentified victim was shot once in the leg and was transported to a hospital in Montgomery, according to SPD Lt. Sam Miller. The man was in stable conditioning Monday afternoon.
Miller said investigators have identified a suspect and no one else is wanted in connection to the shooting.
“We are positive this is the person we are looking for,” Miller said.
Authorities declined to release the suspect’s name at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation.
