Roundup: Selma, Southside win baseball games

Southside 16, Autaugaville 1 (Baseball)
Southside’s Jonte Small did it all for the Panthers in a 16-1 win over Autaugaville Monday at Bloch Park.
Small threw four strikeouts as Southside’s starting pitcher but also hit a double and drove in two runs. Keterius Jones also had a single and a RBI for the Panthers.
Outside of that, Southside took advantage of erratic pitching for the Eagles, who walked in the other runs.
Selma 12, Ellwood Christian 3 (Baseball)
Selma defeated Ellwood Christian 12-3 at Bloch Park on Monday. Rayford Mitchell, Gary Crum Jr. and Jeremy Perkins scored runs for the Eagles. Mitchell was also the starting pitcher for the Eagles.
