MMI loses to McLennan in NJCAA Tournament

Christian Bradford scored 30 points, but it wasn’t enough as Marion Military Institute fell to McLennan 78-70 in the first round of the National Junior College Athletic Association’s men’s Division I basketball tournament.
Bradford was 10-for-22 shooting and made four 3-pointers to keep it close, but Marion made only 9-of-18 free throws and was outrebounded 34-31.
Audre Jackson scored 20 points and had nine rebounds to lead McLennan in the win.
Ronnie Baylark with 12 points and Charles Tripp with 11 points were also in double figures for Marion in the loss.
The tournament is being played in Hutchinson, Kansas.
