Mr. Pollard Simpson, 68, resident of Selma, Alabama, passed away December 19, 2010 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Church officiated by Rev. Leatha Rump. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include three sons, Johnnie Simpson, Steven Simpson, and Michael Simpson; two daughters, Barbara Jordan and Lillie Simpson; three brothers, Henry Simpson, Lee Ernest Simpson, and Barry Hill; two sisters, Rachel Murphy and Ruth Mae Owens; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother-in-law, three sisters-in-laws, and a host of nieces and nephews.
