Selma men in critical condition after shooting Saturday

The Selma Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that injured two Selma men Saturday morning.
Police responded to a call at 2:50 a.m. in reference to a shooting at the intersection of Highway 80 and Highway 41.
“[A] car drove up on them and opened fire on their vehicle,” said Sgt. Tory Neely. “They were able to drive away to a safe location and notify police.”
The victims, ages 32 and 42, were transported by paramedics to Baptist South in Montgomery.
The victims are in critical condition, according to authorities.
The 32-year-old victim received multiple gunshot wounds in the torso. The 42-year-old victim received multiple gunshot sounds in the left arm and left leg.
Neely said investigators are following leads and a motive has not been determined.
