Dee Roy Montz, age 60, of Valley Grande, passed away April 23, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Otha Lee and Annie Opal Montz; brother, Phares Montz and sister, Dorothy Swinson.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Leigh Montz; children, David (Jessica) Montz and Deanna (Wesley) Sahm; brothers, Richard (Rachel) Montz, Newt (Judy) Montz, Dexter Montz and Douglas Montz; sisters, Annie McClellan, Hazel Martin, Mary Christa Wyatt, Judy Violet Montz and Vera (Billy) Sherman; grandchildren, Rayne Katheryn Montz, Brodie Thomas Sahm and Emma Leigh Sahm, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1 p.m.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Employees of the Power House at International Paper will serve as honorary pallbearers.
