City, county offices to be closed through Monday

The Fourth of July is right around the corner, and many businesses and offices in Selma will be closed for the holiday. Both city and county employees were given Friday and Monday off for Independence Day.
The Selma City Hall will be closed Friday, July 1 through Monday, July 4 and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The Selma Public Works Department will run a holiday schedule for trash pick-up. Monday and Friday routes will not have any service this week. Trash service will resume its regular schedule Tuesday.
Seacoast Disposal will be closed Monday and will resume services on Tuesday, July 5 at 8 a.m. Garbage collection will not be impacted by the holiday.
The Dallas County Courthouse will be closed Friday and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The Selma-Dallas County Public Library will be closed Saturday, through Monday. The library will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Use the book entrance at Washington Street to return items.
The United States Post Office and all local banks will also be closed Monday.
