The Vaughan Regional Medical Center auxiliary’s annual home show is back for another year.
The sale will be held next week on Thursday, Aug. 11 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, Aug. 12 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Vaughan’s Tower Classroom.
Available include items for the home and kitchen like irons, vacuum cleaners, coffee pots, crock pots and more.
Some brands include Conair, Ralph Lauren, Hamilton Beach, Fit & Fresh, Shark, Dr. Scholl’s and more.
Sale chairwoman Janie Venter said the money raised goes toward scholarships, gifts for new mothers who deliver at the hospital, local food banks and other hospital needs.
Venter volunteers at the hospital every Tuesday. She said that she hopes the event will have a huge turnout.
“I’m hoping that more people will come out to support it,” Venter said.
Over the years, the auxiliary has helped remodel the hospital’s chapel, bought furniture for the nursery, and remodeled the cafeteria.
“Our main goal is to help the hospital out, and this sale is a great way to raise money,” Venter said.
Venter encourages the whole community to come out and support the hospital.
Customers can purchase items using cash and credit or debit cards. Employees of the hospital will be able to use payroll deduction.
