Domonique Jones ran for a late  30-yard touchdown and threw a touchdown pass as Keith defeated Billingsley 22-20 Friday night.

Jones’ touchdown run came on a play where he zigzagged back and forth between defenders.

Once he found the end zone, the pressure turned to the Keith defense, which managed to hold Billingsley on downs in the final minutes of the game.

“I think it was a great win. We had great defensive play from role players,” said Keith coach Harry Crum.

Jones lined up in the Wildcat formation and threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Levi Thomas for Keith’s first touchdown. Jaeshan Black scored the next Keith touchdown on a 50-yard jet sweep.   The Bears are off next week before playing Southside Sept. 23.
