Motorists might run into delays on Old Montgomery Highway Thursday. The Dallas County Road Department announced that portions of Old Montgomery Highway will be paved starting at the railroad tracks near the Curb Market on U.S. Highway West 80 and ending at the bypass.

Once a section has been paved, it will be re-opened to traffic while the next section is closed in order to be paved. The first section to be closed will be south of the railroad tracks near the Curb Market and the last section will be near the bypass.

The road department asks motorists to make travel arrangements for a delay up to 30 minutes.
