Ms. Mattie Boswell, 78, of Selma, passed away Oct. 8, 2016, in Selma.

Services are scheduled for Oct. 15, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Siloam Baptist Church with pastor John Lumpkin officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Church Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing.

She is survived by nine sons, Raymond (Evon) Boswell, Vaughan C. (Tasheba) Boswell, Nepoleon Boswell, Samuel Boswell, Jerry (Jannie) Boswell, Eddie (Tammy) Boswell, Madrid Boswell, Joseph (Rosie) Boswell and Tyrone (Wanda Fea) Boswell; six daughters, Bertha (late Calvin) Smith, Carrie Williams, Essie (William) Johnson, Shelley (William Atkins) Boswell, Estella Boswell and Christie (William Jr.) Johnson; four brothers, Tommy L. Woods, Eddie (Diane) Woods, James (Marion) Woods and Johnnie (Ronnistine) Woods; four sisters, Ethal (Charles) Beamon, Annie (Milton) Woods, Sally Woods and Barbara Woods; more than 50 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
