Missing Selma teenager found safe

A Selma teenager that was reported missing last Friday was found safe Monday.
According to Lt. Sam Miller with the Selma Police Department, 17-year-old Laquishia Rena Sellers was located safe and sound.
According to a release from Sgt. Evelyn Ghant, Sellers was reported missing Saturday by her mother.
“Officers responded to the 1200 block of First Avenue … in reference to a missing juvenile,” said Sgt. Evelyn Ghant. “When officers arrived at the scene, they spoke with the mother of the missing juvenile.”
Sellers mother told officers she was last seen at a school festival on Franklin Street between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
