Bernard Gardner Sr., 75, of Selma, passed away Oct. 23, 2016, in Selma. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Lily Grove with the Rev. Michael Dillard officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his spouse, Mattie Gardner; son, Bernard Gardner Jr.; three daughters, Jeanette Gardner, Bernadette Gardner and Charlotte Gardner; two brothers, Robert Gardner and William Gardner; sister, Willie Mae Thomas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
