Jerry Blease Tolbert, age 69, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dock and Millie Tolbert; and brothers, Charles Tolbert, Jessie Tolbert and Joseph Tolbert.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Tolbert; daughters, Jenny Tolbert and Kimberly Tolbert (Bobby) Tippett; brothers, Ray Tolbert and Fred Eugene Tolbert; and sister-in-law, Joyce Tolbert.

Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at noon in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Eaton officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens, directed by Selma Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Lightsy, George Helewski, Daniel Roberts, Tom Mills, Quintus Williamson and Larry Palmer.

The family will accept flowers or requests that donations be made to the building fund of Westwood Baptist Church, 4085 U.S. Highway 80, Selma, AL 36701
