Linda Smallwood Barlow, 70, of Selma, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, in Woodbridge, Virginia, surrounded by family.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Selma with internment at Earlham Cemetery in Richmond, Indiana.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimber’Lee Langston (Chad) of Woodbridge, Virginia; second mother, Mary Smallwood Hilterman of Richmond, Indiana; brothers, Chuck (Kathy) of Lakeland, Tennessee, Kevin Smallwood of Newcastle, Indiana, Marc (Missy) Lacy of Muncie, Indiana, Daniel Smallwood of Columbus, Ohio, and Mathew Smallwood of Pleasant Hill, California; sister-in-law, Debi (Scott) Smallwood Morgan of Midland, Virginia; granddaughter, Chelsea McCollum (Logan) of Munford, Alabama; grandson, Chase Langston of Woodbridge, Virginia; great-granddaughter, Charlie McCollum of Munford, Alabama; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Charlie and Helen Smallwood; siblings, Larry Smallwood, Bruce Smallwood, Carol Jean Johnson and Douglass Smallwood.

Linda was a longtime active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. A true servant of faith, Linda tirelessly aided her parish for close to 40 years as a Sunday school teacher and volunteer for countless committees.
