The American Legion Thomas R. Mackin Post 20 in Selma continues to give back time and time again, whether it is to group’s like the Alzheimer’s-Autism Outreach Group or another good cause.
This past weekend, the Legion made a $300 donation to the group to purchase a tracking bracelet that will go to a veteran that is dealing with a variety of mental illnesses, including Alzheimer’s.
The American Legion is a great group of veterans that believes in this community and finds ways to give back and make a difference. This bracelet will make a difference in someone’s life if they wander off by helping law enforcement find them much quicker and much easier. We salute the American Legion for their service in the community.
