Ashley Walker Hale is a Selma-Dallas County resident that the town should be proud to have as a part of this community.

A devoted teacher and servant to Selma youth, Hale is somebody who leads by example. She is somebody who has worked for everything she has earned, receiving degrees from two different universities to become an educator after starting off as a secretary for the Selma City school system.

Hale said herself she believes being a teacher requires more than just impacting the lives of children in the classroom, but that teachers should strive to impact them in their lives as well.

Having teachers in the Dallas County area who are willing to provide our children with counsel along with quality education is something the residents should be thankful for.

For Hale, there is no doubt she will keep up her hard work and commitment, because she understands her occupation is about way more than just herself. Thank you to Hale for all you do for your community inside and outside the hallways.
