Two Selma men are in jail after a burglary on July 28.
James Gerald Hall, 41 and Sylvester Lewis Stevenson, 36 were charged with second-degree stolen property after a business on Highland Avenue was burglarized.
An alert patrol officer noticed the business appeared to have been broken into and confirmed the break in with the owner, according to Selma Police Chief Spencer Collier.
The officer also identified the suspects and some of the stolen items at a local motel in the vicinity, according to reports.
Both suspects were processed into the Dallas County Jail on $15,000 bonds.
