Edmundite Missions Group continues good deeds

Following vandalism at schools in the Selma City School system, one group stepped in to help take some of the heat off the students and staff in their first day back at school.
Vandalism is bad enough, but when it affects students, it is an all-time low when the copper wiring and other parts of the HVAC’s engine were stolen from multiple units from R.B. Hudson School and Kingston Elementary School.
The fans donated by the Edmundites may not solve the problem fully, but it does provide relief.
It is groups like the Edmundites that remind us that helping for the main purpose of just helping is a powerful act.
In a world full of bystanders who just say that someone should help, the Edmundites Group are some of the few who actually take action in the community.
We hope this simple act of donating will encourage others to face problems, instead of waiting for someone else to do something about it.
Action from yourself is more effective than waiting for another person to react.
We hope that next time you find a problem, you, yourself will do something about it and be someone who takes initiative.
