There is still time to sign up for the annual Integrity Worldwide’s Run for Kenya races.
Whether if you are a runner or not, this is an event that is worth your time.
The 10K and 5K will start at 9 a.m. and the 1-mile will start at 10:30 a.m.
The 5K will start at 900 Alabama Ave. and end on Lauderdale Street.
The 10K will start at the Dallas County Court House and end back at the same spot.
There is a $25 fee to register for either race. Registration ends on Oct. 4. at 6 p.m., so there is still time.
The goal of the annual fundraiser is to raise money for the organization’s Integrity Health Medical and Dental Clinic in Meto, Kenya.
This year, we can all help the raise funds as they look to hire a Maasai nurse, doctor, dentist and office manager.
Influenced by Isaiah 61, Integrity Worldwide operates to rebuild, renew and restore Maasai villages in southern rural Kenya that have been destroyed by extreme poverty.
The group strives to find sustainable ways to promote growth and build communities.
This is a cause worth supporting. We encourage everyone to come out and do their best.
