Free legal advice clinic coming to the Selma and Dallas County Public Library on Oct. 9

The Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program, the Solo and Small Firm Section, the Dispute Resolution Section working in cooperation with the Dallas County Bar Association and Legal Services Alabama are partnering to host a free legal advice clinic.
The clinic will be held at the Selma and Dallas County Public Library on Oct. 9 from 11a.m. until 2 p.m.
Volunteer attorneys will be present to provide free legal advice to people that cannot afford to pay for legal fees.
The lawyers will be answering legal questions about, but not limited to divorce, custody, visitation, landlord/tenant issues, wills and estates, debt collection, bankruptcy, foreclosure, domestic violence and other civil matters.
Guests are asked to bring any related paperwork for the attorney to review.
Attendance is limited to the first 20 people to sign up.
