The Knights of Columbus donated a $1,000 check to the Safe Harbor Women’s Medical Clinic this week.
Several members were on hand to make the donation at Safe Harbor, located on 408 Dallas Ave.
Knights of Columbus Grand Knight Corey Bowie said the organization makes a concerted effort to assist Safe Harbor.
“Being pro-life is one of the core values of the Knights of Columbus,” Bowie said. “Safe Harbor is a worthwhile agency. As Knights of Columbus, we partner with them to help them anyway we can.”
Safe Harbor Executive Director Jennifer Dobbs said the clinic is grateful for the Knights of Columbus’ contributions.
“The Knights have played a big role in our clinic,” Dobbs said. “They donated an ultrasound four years ago. We appreciate their support.”
Knight of Columbus member John Craig said Safe Harbor is a top-notch organization.
“We’ve been doing this for quite a while,” Craig said.
“The Safe harbor is one of the projects that we support in the Knights of Columbus,” Knights of Columbus member John Solomon said.
