Louvenia Ransom Brown

Louvenia Ransom Brown, 94, a resident of Selma passed February 18, 2011. Graveside services are scheduled for 12 noon Wednesday February 23, 2011 in Fairlawn Memory Garden with Pastor Thomas Gray officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of J. H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday Feb. 22nd from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm

Mrs. Brown  was the widow of the late Rev. Claude C. Brown. She was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church and worked with the City of Selma Public Schools for over 43 years.

She is survived by daughters Cecile B. Cooper and Iris Lynn Brown; grand-daughter Kymberli (Courtland) Winston plus many other relatives and friends.
