Governor Ivey approves $5,000 reward to find suspect in Wilcox County murder

Governor Kay Ivey approved a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Curtis Crear.
Crear was killed on June 12, 2017 in Wilcox County. He was fatally wounded from gunfire and a female was also struck but she survived.
District Attorney Michael Jackson, whose 4th Judicial Circuit presides over Dallas County, Bibb County, Wilcox County, Perry County and Hale County, said he’s grateful for Gov. Ivey’s assistance.
“We are thankful for Gov. Ivey approving the request that I made on behalf of the Crear family,” Jackson said.
