WoodmenLife appoints new regional director in Alabama

On Thursday, WoodMen Life announced that Michael Hutto has been named Regional Director for Southern Alabama.
WoodMen Life is a non-profit organization established in 1890 to provide life insurance and retirement products to its nearly 700,000 members.
In his new roles, Hutto will oversee a wide swath of Alabama, including Dallas County. Hutto will be overseeing a team of more than a dozen employees and tasked with building effective and high-achieving teams. Further, he will represent the company in local communities by supporting community-focused activities and events.

Dees, President and CEO of WoodmenLife. “I am confident our membership will continue to grow and thrive under Michael Hutto’s direction. He brings a wide breadth of knowledge about our unique organization and the products and benefits we offer our members.”
Hutto is a native of Marianna, Florida and joined the WoodmenLife team in August 2013.
He was recognized for his excellence in 2015 and promoted in June 2016.
Hutto earned his Bachelor of Science in criminal justice, with a minor in psychology, from Florida State University.
He joined the Leon County Sherriff’s Office in Florida as a Mounted Posse volunteer in 2008 and still serves as a Reserve Deputy in Jackson County, Florida.
Hutto has been involved with community outreach efforts supporting first responders, veterans and children.
In his new capacity, which will have him working with more than 18,000 WoodmenLife members in the state,
Hutto and his wife, Kelley, are looking to relocate to Alabama in the near future.
