Janna Hoehn’s search for the photos of every deceased Vietnam veteran has led her to Dallas County.

There are 11 Vietnam veterans from Dallas County who lost their lives during the war. Early last year, Hoehn was missing three photos from Dallas County – today, that number is down to only one.

The one is Freddie Lee Johnson, who was born on Oct. 19, 1940 and died in Vietnam on Dec. 7, 1966. He was a First Lieutenant in the Army Reserve.

Anyone with information or a photo of Johnson should come forward and allow Hoehn to complete her project of finding every photo of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall members.

This is an incredible feat and one that is applauded for this way of presenting and preserving history.
