Additional charges were made for one of Selma’s most dangerous criminals this week.
A Dallas County Grand Jury indicted Tyron Stallworth, AKA “Buck,” on conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, shooting into an occupied building and shooting into an unoccupied building. Stallworth and his twin brother of Jaron Stallworth, AKA “Pop,” are two of the city’s most dangerous criminals.
According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Stallworth allegedly hired some gunslingers to go and shoot up the Dees family. Dees was recently sentenced to life by Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins A. Pettaway for murdering one of Stallworth’s relatives, Joseph Senior, outside a Sports bar at the 1200 block of Alabama avenue on July 30, 2012.
Stallworth is currently in jail for two previous charges, third-degree assault and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Pettaway revoked that bond on Feb. 15.
Selma Police Department Chief Spencer Collier said the SPD appreciates how serious the District Attorney’s office is handling the incident.
“The level of manipulation, intimidation and ruthlessness demonstrated in the charges against Stallworth clearly show how dangerous he is,” Collier said. “It’s also an example of the coordinated criminal behavior from a top-down approach that we are fighting in Selma.
We have worked hard to communicate to our federal partners that this behavior is nothing short of sophisticated, organized crime”
“Although its carried out at a street level that may seem random, I can assure you that underestimating either Stallworth is done at the peril of this community,” Collier continued. “We hope Tyron’s federal probation reflects the seriousness of this situation.”
Jackson said Stallworth needs to find better use of his time.
“It would be nice if Buck would do something positive in the Selma community instead of wreaking havoc,” Jackson said.
