On Friday, the Leadership Selma-Dallas County kicked off a brand new year with the 26th class.
For the past 26 classes, the Leadership Selma-Dallas County classes have worked at community development and was established to address a need to prepare committed individuals for growth and development opportunities, both personally and professionally in the heart of Alabama’s Black Belt, according to the organization’s history.
It was founded in 1993 and has even been endorsed by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Economic Development Authority and the Selma-Dallas County Chamber of Commerce.
These 19 people that are part of Class 26 have a long 10 months ahead but it will be some of the most rewarding experiences they will have.
They will learn about their community and how they can make a difference in it through their class project.
Welcome to the Selma-Dallas County Leadership family.
