ECA headmaster Gary Crum was contacted Tuesday by The Selma Times-Journal, but declined to comment.

Before joining the Eagles, Catlin was the co-offensive coordinator for the Linden High School Patriots. In his six seasons with Linden, he also coached the linebackers.
ECA will be the fourth Dallas County school to change football coaches this season, joining Selma, Southside and Dallas County.
