Gun Law Seminar set for Monday

Monday night, the citizens of the Selma-Dallas County area will have the opportunity to attend a Gun Law Seminar at Hampton Inn – Selma.

The Seminar, sponsored by Rountree Outdoors and conducted by U.S. Law Shield, will educate attendees about an array of gun safety topics including the Castle doctrine, the justified use of deadly force, and carry laws.

“This is important stuff for people to know,” said Chett Chappelle, Manager at Rountree Outdoors. “A lot of people aren’t really clear about when it’s the right time to defend yourself. This whole thing is really to let people to know what to do and not to do.”

Experienced attorneys, law enforcement and other firearms professionals will conduct the seminar before hosting a dedicated question and answer segment to ensure all attendees get credible information from a reliable source.

In addition to knowledge from firearms professional, attendees will also go home with a free copy of the book “When Can I Legally Shoot? Knowing the Law of Deadly Force”.

Monday night’s Gun Law Seminar sponsored by Rountree Outdoors will take place from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Hampton Inn – Selma located at 2200 West Highland Ave.
