Bibb County suspect sentenced for two counts of murder

A Bibb County man who robbed Dollar General in Valley Grande four years ago was sentenced 85 years in prison to run concurrent for two counts of Intentional Murder.
According to Fourth Judicial Circuit District Attorney Michael Jackson, Manley Bray pled to two counts of Intentional murder on Tuesday. He also pled to one count of Abuse of a Corpse and got 10 years to run concurrent. Circuit Court Judge Collins Pettaway sentenced Bray.
“This gunslinger will now be off the streets the rest of his life,” Jackson said.
Bray has committed several crimes, ranging from Autauga to Tuscaloosa.
Bray pled to first-degree robbery for robbing Dollar General in Valley Grande on July 25, 2015. He also pleaded to first-degree robbery for robbing Fred’s in Marion. Bray got 25 years for the Dallas County robbery and 25 years for the Perry County robbery to run concurrent with the Bibb County murders.
Bray also got 20-year sentences in Tuscaloosa, Bessemer, Shelby and Autauga to run concurrent with his Bibb County murder cases.
