A Selma man was charged Wednesday with two counts of burglary charges.
According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Joe Lewis Jackson was charged with two third-degree burglary charges, obstructing justice and using a false identity.
Dallas County District Court Judge Bob Armstrong gave Jackson a $1 million bond. Jackson is currently in the Dallas County jail.
On Sept. 30, Jackson entered a residence on the block of 764 Circle Drive and removed a window unit. While inside, Jackson removed three TV sets and other items without the owner’s permission. The items are valued at $1,170.
Jackson, 23, picked these charges after being granted a bond by Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins A. Pettaway on a pending capital murder charge.
