Pugh said he will work with council members Tammy Troha and Lamar Morgan for a solution to the issue.

“Something has to be done, this is a problem,” Valley Grande Mayor Matt Dobbs said.

Pugh also told the council that the sewer on the main pump is stuck. He also said it can’t pump until the flow is fixed. Pugh said a company from Birmingham will be coming in to fix the pump, likely this week.

Troha told the council that Dallas County Commissioner Roy Moore said Quick Freeze Road will be the first road to payoff under the new tax revenue.
