Rotarians lend a hand to Salvation Army’s Angel Tree

The Selma Rotary Club made a donation to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program on Monday afternoon.
Through the Angel Tree Program, the Salvation Army provides Christmas gifts to children from low-income families.
Rotary Club President James Steele says the $500 donation made by the Selma Rotary Club will provide gifts to four children this Christmas.
“It’s the giving season,” said Steele. “That’s what it’s all about. These children will be able to have a beautiful Christmas.”
Steele said that the donation to the Angel Tree Program falls in line with the Rotary Club’s Commitment to serving the Selma community.
“We like to serve as much as we can,” said Steele. “Because we love this community.
