Perry County reports four COVID-19 cases

Perry County has reported cases of four coronavirus infected people.
According to the Alabama COVID-19 Data and Surveillance Interactive Map released daily by the Alabama Department of Health’s Division of Infectious Diseases and Outbreaks, Perry County has three confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of noon Friday.
The first reported case of COVID-19 in Perry County occurred on April 4. The other three cases were reported Thursday. Test results of 47 people in Perry County have come back.
The ADPH hosted a drive through for COVID-19 testing Thursday at the Perry County Health Department in Marion through appointment through a physician only for those with coronavirus symptoms.
Cahaba Medical Care has COVID-19 testing at Respiratory Virus Evaluation Clinic in Marion. The clinic sees any patients with symptoms of possible respiratory illness and provides COVID-19 testing to patients who meet testing criteria.
