The American Pharmacy Cooperative (APCI) honored Dallas Avenue Pharmacy Owner Tim Gibbs as a Patient Champion this week.

Dallas Avenue Pharmacy is a member of the Brown Drug Company family of stores, which also includes Brown Drug Company, Med Center Pharmacy, Interlink Apothecary, Valley Grande Pharmacy, Maplesville Pharmacy, and Union Drugs.

“Pharmacists like Tim Gibbs are vital to our communities because they know that nothing is more important than earning and keeping their neighbors’ trust,” APCI CEO Tim Hamrick said. “Independent, locally-owned pharmacies provide that personal, patient-focused care that no big-box chain can. Dallas Avenue Pharmacy offers a variety of services, including free delivery, onsite immunizations, medication flavoring, medication synchronization, online and auto refills, text reminders and a digital app. They carry diabetic supplies, home health supplies, durable medical equipment, natural vitamins, and herbal supplements. Most prescriptions are filled in 10 minutes or less, and they accept most major insurance plans.
