Sean Powell scored on a passed ball in the top of the eighth inning to give Cathedral Academy an 11-10 win over Marion Academy on Monday.

It was the first win in school history for a Cathedral team that is going through its inaugural season.

Wes Tipton went 4-4 with a double and three RBIs. Isaac Reynolds went 3-for-5 with a double and one RBI.

Reynolds struck out nine over four innings.
