Michael Bradley (Brad) Powe

Michael Bradley (Brad) Powe, age 38, died tragically in an accident on Friday, March 25, 2011, in Coy, Alabama.

He is survived by his parents, Mack and Judy Powe, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Berniece Powe, loving relatives and many devoted friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Mr. Thomas Alva Powe, loving relatives and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Pate of Evergreen, AL.

Brad was a 1990 graduate of Wilcox Academy and a graduate of Alabama Southern Community College. He was employed by Performance Contractors, Inc. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He loved the outdoors, especially spending time on the Alabama River as wells at his camphouse. He was a an avid turkey hunter.

Brad will always be remembered for his bright smile, his generous heart, his unlimited number of friends as well as his rapport with children.

He was a member of Camden Baptist Church where a visitation was held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 2:30. A celebration of his life followed at 4:00, March 31, 2011. Dr. Eddie Davidson and Dr. Bob Weber officiating. Interment followed at Coy Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include special friends, William Vaiden Curry, Jr., James Wilson Axon, Jr., Fleetwood Gilbert Hollinger, IV, William Burford Malone, Jr., John Powell Webb, IV, William Hugh Johnson, Steve Carey Stallworth, John Powell Webb, III.
