Selma Health and Rehab holds ribbon cutting

Selma Health & Rehab held a ribbon cutting ceremony at its facility on Tuesday morning.
Dallas County Probate Judge Jimmy Nunn, Paul Alexander of Scott Communications Vaughn Regional Medical Center CFO Tyler Adkins attended and were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony for Selma Health and Rehab, previously named Warren Manor.
“The ribbon cutting is our present on serving the community,” Davis said.
Dennis Davis, Selma Health and Rehab Administrator, said he knows that countless Selma and Dallas County residents still refer to the place as Warren Manor.
“I know that everyone will remember Selma Health and Rehab as Warren Manor,” Davis said. “We still want to continue that Warren Manor tradition, but as Selma Health and Rehab, we want to show that we can serve patients in a different way.
“We want to build upon what Warren Manor tradition, but as Selma Health and Rehab, we want to show that we can serve patients in a different way.
“We want to build upon what Warren Manor has done. We will continue to move forward.”
Nunn, a former city of Selma attorney, said he appreciates the services that Selma Health and Rehab provides.
“I’m glad that Selma Health and Rehab and its former name, Warren Manor have been an anchor in Selma and Dallas County for so many years,” Nunn said.
Selma and Dallas County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Executive Director Sheryl Smedley said Selma Health and Rehb has been a crucial part of the area.
“Selma Health and Rehab is part of quality of life in Selma and Dallas County, we wouldn’t be here if not for them,” Smedley said.
Davis said that Selma Health and Rehab was the only facility in the state to receive a national quality award.
Davis also said that a C&A School with the Red Cross will open in the near future.
