Morgan Academy student named Dallas county DYW for 2022

A Morgan Academy student is the Dallas County Distinguished Young Woman for 2022.
Maryanna Turner is the 2022 DYW winner.
Valencia Bryant of Selma High was first runner up, Kaylee Grace Whittaker of Morgan Academy) was named 2nd runner up.
Turner will represent Dallas County at the State DYW program in January.
Here’s a bio on the three DYW winners:
Maryanna Turner: Her goal is to attend the University and become a Lobbyist. Her activities include SGA Parliamentarian, Morgan Academy Christian Organization and Selma-Dallas County Youth Leadership.
Valencia Bryant: Her goal is to attend either the University of Alabama or UAB and become a Doctor-Family Medicine or Pediatrics. Her activities include Selma-Dallas County Youth Leadership, National Honor Society, cheerleader and Congress of Future Medical Leaders.
Kaylee Grace Whittaker: Her goal is to attend Wallace Community College-Selma and become a Registered nurse. Her activities include: volleyball, softball, Selma Times-Journal All Dallas County volleyball team and Spirit of the Studio Award.
