Mildred J. Ezell Campbell

Mildred J. Ezell Campbell – was born December 17, 1925 near Sardis, Alabama and was a resident of Saraland, Alabama for the past 55 years, died Monday, April 11, 2011 in Citronelle, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel A. and Clara S. Jackson Ezell; daughter, Charlotte Campbell; brothers, Andrew Jackson Ezell and James Lamar Ezell; and sister, Estelle A. Nickolson.

She is survived by three sons, Alex Russell (Joyce) Campbell of Citronelle, AL, Marion Lamar (Emily) Campbell of Saraland, AL, and Herbert Brian (Dru) Campbell of Chunchula, AL; sisters, Agnes I. Clark of Centreville, AL and Bertha W. Wyatt of Selma, AL; a brother, Samuel P. Ezell of Auburn, AL; four grandchildren, Anthony Brentt Campbell, Brian Keith Campbell, Russell Morgan Lee Campbell, and Amanda Rhiannon Campbell; and three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A homemaker, she was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Saraland, AL for over 50 years. She loved reading and working in her yard, especially in the springtime with her beautiful azaleas.

Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland.  Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from Shiloh Baptist Church.  Ms. Campbell will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.  Graveside services and interment will be held at 3 P.M. on Thursday in New Live Oak Cemetery, Selma, AL.
