Mr. James Bennett, 61, resident of Selma, passed away April 7, 2011 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for April 16, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Richards Gibbs. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

He was preceded in death by parents.

Survivors include spouse, Rosia L. Bennett; two sons, James Jr. Bennett and Tony Elisha Bennett; one daughter, Deborah Bennett Tucker; six brothers, Willie Bennett, Walter Bennett, L.C. Bennett, Roger Dale Bennett, Robert Lee Bennett, and Randolph Bennett; one sister, Susie Garrett; four grandchildren, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, one brother-in-law, and two sisters-in-laws.
