The Dallas Wilcox Bama Club is holding a fundraiser throughout the summer where participants can purchase entries in a drawing to win two tickets to each Alabama home game for the 2022 season.

The proceeds for the fundraiser will benefit the club’s scholarship fund. Participants can purchase one chance to win the ticket package for $20, or six for $100.

“This is the Dallas Wilcox Bama Club’s only fundraiser of the year,” said Dallas Wilcox Bama Club President Ronnie Leet. “All proceeds go to our scholarship funds. Through the success of this fundraiser, the Bama Club is able to raise approximately $4000.00 for its scholarship funds each year, and when matched by the Alabama National Alumni Association, it can increase that amount to more than $7000.00.”

The slate of games covered in this package of tickets include matchups against Texas A&M, Utah State, Vanderbilt, University of Louisiana-Monroe, Mississippi State, Austin Peay and Auburn.

The club recently held its scholarship banquet in May, where seven area high school students each received $6,000 in scholarships for the 2022 Fall semester.

“We can do this thanks to the success of this fundraiser, our membership and our endowed scholarship funds,” Leet said.

The winner will be announced during a live drawing held Aug. 25 at 7:30 a.m. on 100.1 FM Dixie Country.

Leet said the club offers just 300 chances available for purchase, so opportunities to win this package of tickets are limited.
