Zeta Phi Betas in Dallas County award scholarships

Three Dallas County were awarded scholarships from the Gamma Alpha Alpha Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Southside High School graduates Antalya Bell, Fantasia Andrews were both awarded $500 scholarships each. Kelsey Hale was awarded a $250 book scholarship from the Dallas County Zetas.
Bell is a 2022 graduate of Southside High School and will attend the University of Alabama Birmingham, majoring in Health Sciences.
Andrews plans to attend Troy University, majoring in Social Work.
Hale graduated from Dallas County High School. She plans to attend Wallace Community College Selma and eventually transfer to a four-year college, studying Veterinary Science.
The GAAZ Chapter also chapter established a scholarship at Selma University-the Dallas County Zeta Emergency Scholarship, to provide assistance to students when unforeseen life events occur.
Dr. Constance Hendricks,Anita Wood Dr. Denisha Hendricks, Dr. Ellen Buckner, Dr. Shelicia Ford, Dr. Barbara Wilder, Dr. .Irish Spencer, Greta Abernathy, Jeanette Cadell, Karen Bailey, Lynda Lowery and Shelly McGee are the members in the GAAZ.
